THE ALPHA COURSE: explore the meaning of life

Join us on a journey of discovery

What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is a relaxed way for people interested in knowing more about Jesus and Christianity to explore its relevance to everyday life. We usually meet on a Tuesday evening for 8-10 weeks. The evening is an opportunity to eat, think, talk and discuss what you and others think about searching questions facing faith and our lives today. Don’t worry if you miss some weeks but the more you evenings you can make the more you will probably get out of it.

Alpha is supported by all the main Christian denominations. Over six million people world-wide have found it a worthwhile experience completing the Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, universities and prisons.

There are over a dozen courses running in our local area. Click on the logo to visit the Alpha UK site. If you follow the 'Find a Course' links you can type in your postcode to find a course near you.
